My name is Shon Taylor. I’m a SoCal based toy and product designer who’s eager to work on projects that will positively impact people the way toys, collectibles, and the arts have impacted me. I’ve been a freelance character designer and illustrator for just over a decade, bringing characters and illustrative ideas to life for customers all over the world. My styling is unrestricted and adaptable, with a high emphasis on detailing, impressionism, and rendering skills. I strive for excellence in the work I produce, and wish to fuse my passion for environmentalism, biology, and sustainability with my career in production. The work presented here is a small selection of the total projects I have been fortunate enough to contribute to, which includes everything from food labels, movie posters, action figures, book illustrations, mobile game assets, and much more. I am looking forward to working in any and all areas of the design process, but would especially love a job that involves illustration and 3D modeling.
